Header Section of the HTML6 Editor
The header section of HTML6 editor provides quick access to essential tools and links. Here, you can load demo content, download your work as a .txt or .html file, save and restore settings in the cloud, open the Draft Editor, and check your license information. Some features may be restricted without a valid license.
Load Demo Document – Fills the editor with a sample text so you can try out its features. Load the demo, and experiment with cleaning options, and learn how to use the editor. If accidentally pressed the demo button, you can recover your document using the Undo button under the source editor.
Dark / Light Theme – Switch between light and dark mode. This is especially useful if you're designing for a website with a dark theme.
Save Text to URL – Creates a custom link that contains your document encoded in the URL. This allows you to easily save or share your work.
Two links are generated:
- For personal use - Includes your secred link.
- To share - A public link that does not expose your license ID.
Download – Opens a popup where you can specify a file name and download your work in the format of your choice. Note that some web browsers may limit this feature due to security reasons.
Export / Load Settings to JSON – Allows you to save your editor settings into a JSON file and store it on your local device. Simply name the file, download it, and later import it to restore your preferences.
Save Settings to the Cloud – Store your current settings and document content on our sever. You can access your saved work from any device using your own license link. Be aware that others who have access to your secret license link can open and overwrite your saved documents.
You can store up to 5 sets of saved settings by selecting an ID from the dropdown before hitting the Save button. To restore a saved configuration, simply load the same ID.
Saved settings and documents remain available for one month after a license expires. If needed, they can be manually transferred to a new license upon request.
Reset to Default Settings – Restores default settings. Refreshing the website does the same but this one keeps your current document intact.
Draft Editor – Toggles the Draft Editor, a draft editor with syntax highlighting where you can extract code and do other operations which don't affect the main editors. Click here for more details.
License Information – Displays details about your account, including the active license period.
